U.S. Supreme Court

Facing the Capitol, and next door to the Library of Congress, is the gleaming white marble temple of justice, the U.S. Supreme Court. The Supreme Court offers exhibits depicting the history of the court and the judicial branch of our government. Oral arguments can be heard during the first two weeks of each month from October through April. Free lectures begin every hour on the 1/2 hour from 9:30 to 3:30 Monday through Friday.
